## Who we are

Where people gather with meaning. By Jello creates retreats, residencies, festivals, and shared spaces for people to meet, make, rest, and feel part of something. We also build simple tools that help hosts organise, grow, and care for their communities.

## What we believe

1. People want to gather in real life — to meet, connect, and feel part of something beyond the screen.
2. People are looking for new experiences that help them explore different sides of themselves.
3. Good communities are built with care and quality — the people, the hosting, the space, and the details.
4. Good music, food, movement, and a good party can bring people together, help them release, and make a gathering feel alive.
5. Technology should make gathering easier, not replace it.

This is why we create the spaces, experiences, and tools that help people come together with more meaning.

## Spaces

Real places for community to live. We're creating physical spaces for people to gather, stay, create, rest, and return to. Jello House in Ahangama is our first home — a community space on Sri Lanka's south coast, fifteen minutes from the surf. A place for dinners, residencies, slow mornings, shared work, music, movement, and long chapters of doing nothing and everything.

## Retreat design

Retreats, residencies, and weekends away — for teams, crews, communities, founders, families, and groups of people with a common thread. We design and host shared experiences for any group that wants to gather with more care, intention, and meaning: Jordan, Sri Lanka, the Mediterranean, the desert, or wherever fits the brief. ## NYE by Jello 2027 — New Year's in Ahangama

- Dates: December 30, 2026 – January 4, 2027
- Place: Ahangama, Sri Lanka
- A 5-day New Year's gathering — part retreat, part festival, part creative gathering: good music, shared meals, movement, parties, slow mornings, and time to connect.
- Shaped by both Jello and the community: we create the setting, structure, and programming, and guests bring their own ideas, projects, sessions, music, rituals, and energy.
- Spots are limited; priority goes to previous guests and By Jello members. First-timers ask to join on the NYE site.

## Jordan by Jello

A city-based chapter of co-created gatherings across Amman — shared meals, workshops, walks, day parties, tennis, cycling, hikes, listening sessions, coworking, screenings, conversations. Anyone can suggest or host a gathering: individuals, local businesses, collectives, or partners. Jello supports hosts with shaping the idea, pricing, booking, guest communication, and on-site help; ticketed experiences run through Jello's registration and checkout. Summer 2026 chapter ran 27 July – 28 August, by referral.
